Just Food Meet n' Greet

Health impact is as core to our business as is the drive for profits.

In October, 2017, Just Food organized a Meet n’ Greet event as a hats off to the many unsung rural women who toil to produce the food we process and eat, yet are unable to access finance, healthcare and farm inputs.

Educating participants on nutrition for healthy eyes contributes to improve diet patterns. By selling pre-wrapped frozen ekwang (with no added preservatives), we encourage clients to consume healthy and convenient traditional food.

Rural women’s rights and food issues are inextricably linked. On the 15th and 16th October every year, the United Nations celebrates the International Day of Rural Women and the World Food Day respectively to re-emphasize the role of food and rural women in improving agricultural and rural development.

As a social enterprise, it is our shared responsibility to contribute to the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals especially goal 2(No Hunger) & 5(Gender Equality).

We care about the conditions in which people are born, live, grow, work and age.
