Our food is our identity, we are proud of its ability to improve our health and wellbeing!
We are a small, low-cost food processing company in Yaounde on a mission to transform tedious-to-cook African food to convenient and healthy ready-to-cook products. Just Food is comprised of a small team of passionate, committed, neat and jovial people, braving all the odds to set a new trend on convenient traditional food in Cameroon and beyond.
In addition to our maiden product, Pre-Wrapped Ekwang, we are going a step further to offer intellectual food to our community in a bid to improve their health and well-being.
In this regard, we are looking for a committed volunteer with integrity to begin outreach activities in Yaounde.

Job Description
As the main point of contact between Just Food and different stakeholders in the execution of outreach activities, the outreach volunteer will specifically be responsible for the following;
- In consultation with the managing partners, design and implement Just Food’s outreach strategy in line with its 2019-2021 strategic plan.
- Organise all Just Food’s outreach activities and represent the company at all relevant events.
- Create and maintain professional relationships with all Just Food’s partners, potential partners and stakeholders.
- Write articles and take photographs for Just Food’s Facebook page, twitter page and website as well as write press releases, reports and other documentation related to all outreach activities.
- Contribute to grant and project writing, and other company fundraising activities.
- Write event and periodic activity reports and carryout field visits to follow up on activities.
- Attend all relevant capacity building workshops on behalf of Just Food.
- Keep confidential all information about persons and organisations obtained in the execution of duties during this contract.
- Constantly take relevant online courses for self-development.
Qualifications and Experience
ü A self-starter with at least an HND in project management, monitoring and evaluation, Communication or related fields.
ü 1-2 years professional work experience in a similar or related role
ü Computer literate – skilled and confident user in office applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and email; familiarity with relevant information technology, including Facebook, twitter and website content management.
ü Excellent written and oral communication skills.
ü Full proficiency in written and spoken English. Spoken French is a must.
ü Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new environments.
